Llyn Peninsular
A mini tour to Llyn was organised last minute and we decided to ride out to Barmouth, up the coast, take in Aberdaron and then head over to Nefyn to stay over for the night. As per usual, we extended the ride and turned left toward Tywyn, extending the ride by an other hour at least, then right, up the coast to Barmouth, along the spectacular peninsula to Aberdaron. However, we needed feeding in Bala first, so stopped off at a lovely (new to us) fish & chip shop/café and had a lovely breaky and cups of tea and coffee. Stopping for a sneaky Guinness on the way up the coast at one of the 1st pubs we ever stopped at when we started riding all those years ago. The Ysgethin Inn, in Tal-y-bont! Over to Aberdaron for an ice-cream, by-passing Abersoch by going down a myriad of little country lanes. It took ages to get to this farthest western point of Llyn and we were met by 100's of people in this tiny village - we love Aberdaron. It's a usual ride out at least 2-3 times ...
